First installation (or re-install) of the app
Normally a SCORA tablet or screen comes pre-installed with the SCORA Viewer App. There are however a few cases where a fresh install might be needed. This can for example happen after a tablet that was reset to factory defaults. To install the app from scratch, go to the Downloads section on this community web site, and download the latest version of the Viewer App. You then open this file, and installation should begin. We have seen some cases where certain (old) browser versions will not save the file name correctly. In that case, you have to use the standard Android Explorer app, navigate to the downloads folder (Internal Memory -> Downloads). Long press the name of the downloaded file (it will be long and have many seemingly numbers and characters at the end), and select “Rename”. Change the name of the file to something with a .apk extension (that is dot-a-p-k), for example “foo.apk” (without the quotes of course). After changing the file name, the viewer can be installed by tapping the foo.apk file.First installation (or re-install) of the app
